Made in Canada. Built on Sustainability.

Our commitment to manufacturing in Canada is intentional and unwavering. By keeping production domestic, we support the local economy, ensure safe and fair working conditions, and create high-quality garments designed to last.

Our Story Begins (Founded in 1987)

Jerico was born in 1987 when two brothers and two sisters set out to build a family business rooted in quality and community. Those early years were a golden era for Canadian textiles — knitting machines hummed around the clock, dye houses worked double shifts, and sewing rooms raced to keep pace with demand. It was a time of energy, optimism, and growth that shaped the foundation of who we are today.

Choosing Canada (Staying Local Amid Global Change)

When international quotas were lifted in 2001, the market was quickly flooded with low-cost imports. Many Canadian manufacturers responded by outsourcing overseas in search of cheaper labour. Jerico chose a different path. We doubled down on Canadian craftsmanship, confident in the value of our skilled workforce and committed to providing meaningful, humane employment right here at home.

People First (Our Definition of Success)

At Jerico, success has never been measured by cutting corners or exploiting vulnerable workers abroad. We’ve seen firsthand the devastating conditions in which much of the world’s apparel is made, and we knew that wasn’t going to be our story. Instead, we’ve kept our operations in bright, modern facilities where fair wages, safe conditions, and respect are non-negotiable. Our employees aren’t just staff — they’re family, collaborators, and partners in every milestone we achieve.

Made to Last (Our Product Promise)

Remaining Canadian-made hasn’t always been the easiest path, but it has always been the right one. We believe deeply in the ethics of fair labour and in the quality that comes from local craftsmanship. Every Jerico garment is 100% Canadian, sweatshop-free, and designed to stand the test of time. In choosing Jerico, you’re not just wearing apparel — you’re wearing a commitment to authenticity, integrity, and the enduring value of “Made in Canada.”
