As many are aware, the tides of inflation continue unabated. Low interest rates and supply/demand disparities are causing price increases across industries. As supply chains remain strained - the growing prevalence of the new SARS-CoV-2 variant are further exacerbating material and labour shortages. For these reasons, we will be raising our prices effective January 17, 2022.

The extent of macroeconomic uncertainty is unprecedented and as we navigate these trying times we will continue to deploy internal efforts to increase efficiencies and maintain sufficient inventory to meet customer demand. At present we have effectively secured sufficient raw materials so as to not effect delivery schedules.

Jerico started in 1987 with a commitment to manufacture in Canada and offer superior quality. 35 years later, the tradition of socially conscious domestic manufacturing continues. We greatly appreciate your continued business and support through this time of adjustment. More than ever, the value of a strong domestic manufacturing base is evident.

Re: Price Increases and Supply Constraints

As we head into the Fall season, we wanted to provide greater transparency on the disruptions afflicting the supply chains throughout the textile industry. The combination of pandemic related shutdowns, precipitous increases in freight charges and inflationary pressures brought on by economic policies – has led to both shortages and price increases of raw materials. Being a domestic manufacturer with our knitting, dyeing, cutting and sewing taking place on Canadian soil – we are moderately insulated from the volatility of the international import market. However, our yarn is imported from overseas and is not immune to the price increases and supply shortages. As a result, effective September 07, 2021, we will be raising our prices. In addition to a moderate price increase – we are advising all customers that delivery times are being delayed. We ask for your patience and understanding as we navigate these challenging times. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as the situation evolves.
